Golden and Heigh selected for GB U21 men Sultan of Johor Cup squad
Scotland’s Jamie Golden and Fraser Heigh will represent GB men at the Sultan of Johor Cup on 22-28 October in Malaysia.
The Taman Daya Hockey Stadium is the venue for the junior tournament that will see GB U21 men come up against Australia; India; Japan; Malaysia and South Africa.
Golden was part of the GB U21 men’s team that won the Sultan of Johor Cup in 2019, and returns alongside Heigh to defend the title in the tournament’s first outing since Covid.
South Africa will be the first opponents for GB U21 men when they meet on the opening day before Japan provide the opposition on 23 October.
They then play Australia on 25 October; Malaysia on 26 October; and then India on 28 October.
The round robin phase will then finish with the final and play-off matches taking place on 29 October.
