Goalless for Edinburgh students
After their 3-1 victory over Grove Menzieshill
yesterday, Edinburgh University failed to capitalise by drawing 0-0
with bottom side VWS Dundee Wanderers at Peffermill
today.
Despite the disappointing result the Edinburgh students have
moved into fourth position in the Subway national league.
The score line is perhaps not so surprising as there were
only around four shots at goal in the game. But it might have
been worse for the Edinburgh students had keeper David Forrester
had not made a brilliant last minute save from Wanderers` Fergus
Sandison.
However, Wanderers have broken their duck with their first
point of the season.
