Glasgow School of Sport & George Watson’s win Schools Cup finals
Glasgow School of Sport and George Watson’s College were the winners of the Scottish Schools Cup Finals at Peffermill yesterday, while Stewart’s Melville College were victors in the Scottish Schools Plate.
In a dramatic and exhilarating boys’ final, Glasgow School of Sport defeated George Watson’s College 5-4 on running penalties after the match finished level at 4-4. Lee Morton was the star for the Glasgow side, netting all four goals as well as dispatching his running penalty.

George Watson’s College were winners of the Girls’ Scottish Schools Cup final following a narrow 1-0 victory over High School of Glasgow. Jo Prentice was the match winner for the Edinburgh school after a close contest between the two sides. George Watson’s College add the Scottish Schools Cup to their U18 Indoor Cup win in February this year.

Stewart’s Melville College won the Scottish Schools Plate after wins over Strathallan School and Balerno High School.
