GB Hockey seeking a volunteer director
Great Britain Hockey Limited are looking to find a volunteer to be an Independent Director.
Great Britain Hockey Limited (GBHL) is the organisation responsible for overseeing the selection, preparation and participation of men’s and women’s teams to represent GB in Olympic Games and other international events. In accordance with the requirements of the company’s Articles of Association the organisation is seeking to appoint an Independent Director to serve for a period of 4 years from Autumn 2014.
The role includes attending the GBHL board meetings (3 or 4 per year) plus liaison with the company’s other independent director to carry out the function of ensuring that GBHL meets its obligations under the Business and Performance Framework Agreement http://www.greatbritainhockey.co.uk/page.asp?section=1436§ionTitle=Business+%26+Performance+Framework+Agreement . There may also be the requirement to represent GB hockey at other meetings and events.
