Day two in Glasgow brings drama and goals
It was another excellent day of hockey at the EuroHockey Youth Championship II competition in Glasgow as the second day brought drama, late goals, and exceptional action.

France took the lead again when Timothée Clément scored an improvised goal on 46 minutes; controlling the ball above his head and smashing it into the net. France were edging the play and nearly advanced their lead through a great passing team move but the shot from Adrien Coffigniez smashed off the post. France then sealed the win with a great goal by Martin Poupée in the last minute to make it Ukraine 1-3 France.
Last up was host nation Scotland boys taking on Wales and a dramatic late winner from Scotland’s Aidan McQuade gave the Scot’s a 3-2 victory, and put them through to the semi-finals.
