Come and support the teams at this weekend’s Scottish Cup & Plate finals
The Arthur McKay Scottish Cup and Plate Finals reach
their conclusions at the weekend, with four finals taking place on
Saturday 14 April at Peffermill, Edinburgh.
Tickets are available on the gate at Peffermill priced at
£5 for Adults. U16s and Senior Citizens
are admitted for free and we welcome you, your friends or
family to attend a great day out and watch some top class
hockey.
In the men’s Scottish Cup Final, Glynhill Hotel
Kelburne will be aiming for a league and cup double when
they take on Edinburgh side Grange. Following
their silver medal in the EuroHockey Club Champions Trophy in Lille
last weekend, the Paisley outfit will be confident of reclaiming
the trophy.
In the women’s Scottish Cup, Grove Menzieshill
and VWS Dundee Wanderers will compete against each
other again in an all-Tayside final. The Wanderers will be looking
for revenge after their defeat to their Dundee rivals in last
year’s final.
At the start of the day’s proceedings at Peffermill,
Erskine Stewart’s Melville and Inverleith
Ladies meet in an all-Capital contest in the Women’s
Scottish Plate Final. Following back to back promotions, the
Inverleith side will be confident of their chances.
National League Division 2 side Alpha Data
Carnegie are back in the men’s Scottish Plate final this
season and will take on Division 1 side CALA
Edinburgh.
