Coaches Wanted

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Sports
Club Manager and Hockey coach to join the team at Trinity School in
Croydon.

Trinity School is located in an attractive area of the Green
Belt and is equipped with outstanding modern facilities. The role
will include duties within the Sports Club as well as plenty of
interaction with the pupils during PE lessons, Games and after
school activities.

Trinity has enjoyed its most successful year to date in terms of
hockey this season, with the U16 team finishing as Runner-Up in the
National Schools Indoor Championships and joint 5th in the National
School Championships for Boys. The coaching staff are looking to
build on this success for years to come and with plenty of strong
players in the junior ranks, hockey at Trinity has the potential to
become a major force on a National scale. Work in the Sports Club
will involve general organisation of sports facilities such as
hiring out pitches and courts to members and outside parties, as
well as maintaining and extending the Sports Club’s membership base
and the production of various types of advertisement to be
distributed to the general public.

Although the successful candidate will be a hockey specialist, a
wider array of sports coaching ability would be preferable due to
the nature of the school’s varied PE and Games curriculum. You will
also be organised with a strong work ethic and good interpersonal
skills to integrate smoothly into this busy department.
