Champion Minded: a weekend with Allistair McCaw
Scottish Hockey is delighted to offer the opportunity for members to spend two days in the company of Allistair McCaw at Peffermill Playing Fields in Edinburgh on November 3rd & 4th this year.
We are partnering with three other sports governing bodies to deliver the “Champion Minded” conference with Allistair McCaw as keynote speaker. His book of the same title offers unique and highly engaging content around athlete and coach culture, alongside suggestions as to how his methods at the elite end of sport can be adopted and utilised across the sporting spectrum.
The conference is aimed at anyone with an interest in sport and positive thinking and we are delighted to offer members the opportunity to secure a ticket for the two days at a special discounted rate, procured directly from www.scottish-hockey.org.uk
Ticket sales will open on September 17th with a limited number available at a discounted rate for members of the four governing bodies delivering the conference, with a general sale following on October 1st for the general public.
Jamie Frail, Head of Domestic Game, Scottish Hockey, said, “It is great to have a world-renowned Sports Performance and Mindset coach who has worked with numerous Olympians, Paralympians, World Champion Athletes, and Grand Slam Winners here in Scotland. This is a great and unique learning opportunity for coaches and club leaders across hockey.”
As part of the conference you will also be offered the opportunity to feedback your own thoughts on Allistair’s topics and work with colleagues across lots of sports to learn from each other and build a stronger network for your own sporting journey.
It’s set to be a fantastic weekend with one of the top names in sport, coaching and organisational culture. Don’t miss out on your chance to be a part of it!
