Carbon Financial sponsor Scotland Aspiring Girls
Financial planning and investment management firm Carbon Financial has officially launched its sponsorship of Scotland Aspiring Girls.
Carbon Financial is one of the UK’s leading independent financial planning firms. The company has an exceptional track record; won industry awards; and has a long list of very happy investors.
It’s a huge year for the Scotland Aspiring Girls as the squad builds towards the U18 EuroHockey Championships in Krefeld, Germany.
The tournament on 8-16 July will see the talented Scots compete alongside Austria; Belgium; England; Spain; France; Germany; Ireland; The Netherlands at the top table of European hockey.
Carbon Financial’s support for Scottish Hockey is the latest in a line of productive sporting sponsorships for the organisation.
For several years, the company has backed Scots golfer Richie Ramsay on the DP World Tour and Paul Lawrie’s Tartan Pro Tour, enjoyed corporate partner status with The Blairgowrie Golf Club and supported the Bill McLaren Foundation and Strathallan School’s rugby development programme, which has produced players like Jamie Ritchie, Zander and Matt Fagerson for the Scotland international XV.
Carbon Financial director Richard Wadsworth is delighted to add Scottish Hockey to its list of sporting ties.
“At Carbon, we aim to be the best we can be and with that ethos in mind the business has been keen to encourage youth development,” he explained.
“We have been closely aligned with youth sport and we have been impressed with the dedication of the team at Scottish Hockey.
“Support for the Aspiring girls’ squad is an excellent fit.
“We look forward to following the squad’s fortunes this season at home and abroad.”
Award-winning Carbon Financial, which specialises in financial planning and investment strategies, has offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen and London.
Scottish Hockey’s Director of Hockey Operations, Jennifer Griffin, is also delighted with the new sponsorships. Wilson added, “We’re delighted to have the support of Carbon Financial for our Scotland Aspiring Girls’ athletes.
“It’s a massive year for the squad and to know that there’s great support from their sponsors is such a boost for the players building towards a big summer.
I’d like to thank Carbon Financial for their support of the team and we’re all looking forward to cheering the team on at the U18 EuroHockey Championships in Germany this summer.”
