Arthur J Gallagher Sponsorship Set to Support Workforce Development
Arthur J Gallagher are the sponsors of the Scottish Hockey Accreditation Scheme, launched in September 2015. The sponsorship has been a massive asset to the programme allowing the development team to offer an extensive rewards package to clubs achieving silver or gold levels. The rewards include access to the Silver Club Development Day which involves a training workshop for clubs and a session with the Senior Women’s Head Coach, Gordon Shepherd, with lunch and travel expenses included.
A further benefit will now be added to the silver club rewards after it was highlighted as a priority area for a number of clubs. Clubs who have achieved silver will now have access to an additional subsidy for one of their coaches to attend and complete UKCC Level 2. This will have an enormous impact for clubs across Scotland, especially the smaller clubs, by helping to create a stronger workforce and ensuring a focus on high quality session delivery.
Scottish Hockey’s Arthur J Gallagher representative, Douglas McEwan, will be at the Silver Club Development Day on the 12th of June to give a short presentation on the company and to present the awards to the 14 clubs that have already achieved silver.
