Arnold Clark renews sponsorship of Scotland women’s squad

Arnold Clark has renewed its sponsorship of the Scotland Women’s National Team. Arnold Clark began supporting the Tartan Hearts last year and will continue to support the team’s growth and will continue to appear on the lapels of Scotland women’s playing kit.

Arnold Clark is the UK’s largest independently owned, family-run car retailer. We pride ourselves on offering customer service of the highest level.

Since its launch in 1954 in Glasgow, Arnold Clark Automobiles has grown to become Europe’s largest privately owned car retailer, selling in excess of 300,000 vehicles per year, and has locations stretching from Elgin down to Exeter.

The sponsorship renewal comes at the start of another huge year for the Scotland women’s team, and gives the squad the exciting boost of Arnold Clark’s support to kick start the year. The squad is preparing to compete in the FIH World Cup Qualifier in Hyderabad, India, on 8 February to 14 March.

At the World Cup Qualifier, Scotland will play Wales on Sunday 8 March; India on Monday 9 March; and Uruguay on Wednesday 11 March before the latter stages of the tournament.

John Clark, Chief Commercial Officer at Arnold Clark, said: ‘We’re incredibly proud to continue our sponsorship of Scottish Hockey’s Women’s National Team. At Arnold Clark, we’re passionate about supporting women’s sport and know the huge role it can play in bringing people together in local communities.

‘We look forward to continuing our partnership with Scottish Hockey and supporting athletes who can inspire future generations.’

Derek Keir, Scottish Hockey CEO, said, “We’re absolutely delighted to have the support of Arnold Clark for the Scotland Women’s National Team. Having a partner of this calibre behind us provides a fantastic boost as our squad prepares for another big year of international competition. Their backing helps drive our ambitions, supports our athletes at the highest level, and reinforces our commitment to growing the women’s game in Scotland.”
