Annual Awards nominations are now open
Nominations for the Aberdeen Asset Management Annual Awards 2014 are now open!
The Aberdeen Asset Management Annual Awards normally marks the end of the hockey season, however, in this, the year of a home Commonwealth Games, we have chosen to combine the Annual Awards Dinners with a celebration of all hockey in Scotland following the Games in August.
Details of when and where this event will take place will be issued shortly, however we still want to get you, our members, thinking about who within the hockey community is deserving of one of the awards on offer.
Many of the teams and clubs will have completed their seasons and those awards will have been determined on the pitch, but the individual awards are where you can really influence the decision making. There are several categories in which to nominate individuals, including Thistle Award, Order of Merit and several coaching and volunteer awards.
For the first time we are opening up Player of the Year nominations to the public and we hope to get a diverse range of nominees from across the leagues and Districts.
So if you think someone is deserving on one of our awards please fill in the Nomination Form to submit an individual for consideration.
The nomination process will be open until Friday 11 July. If you have any problems or queries please contact Louise McIntyre.
