Update on Game Management System
During the week commencing the 19th September, the suppliers of our new Game Management System suffered a critical incident relating to their servers.
Unexpected loading peaks caused interruptions to access, and while extra resources were allocated to monitor the platform, and minimise the impact, it soon became apparent that implementing a fix while the issues were occurring was not possible, so access had to be restricted.
As a result, this had an impact on our ability to create access for team contacts for inputting fixture times, venues, and results across our domestic competitions.
Rigorous testing of a new server was carried out on Monday 26th September and on completion of this our database will be moved across.
Our next steps are to ensure we create the required access to allow match information to be input on the system, and further updates on a timeline for completion of the other important aspects of our system such as club administration will follow.
