Strategy Roadshow – West
Scottish Hockey has announced dates for an upcoming Strategy Roadshow to gather views from its membership, to inform the development of the new Scottish Hockey strategy.
The roadshow will include in person sessions in the north; east; midland and west, as well as online sessions, to engage with members and work as One Team to Build for the future.

Scottish Hockey has now successfully completed it’s ‘you said, we did’ campaign that it implemented following the Membership Engagement Project to deliver the key recommendations of the project’s report as part of its Reset phase.
The ‘you said, we did’ campaign began in April 2021 and since then Scottish Hockey has implemented the key recommendations from that report. We are very proud of the efforts of all involved to be able to deliver such an incredible amount in such a short period of time. We delivered over 20 key changes but here are the key highlights are:
- Governance review and Reset
- Senior level Staffing Reset and restructure
- Company Reset rebrand
- Digital Reset with new Game Management System
- Increase senior level visibility to help Build relationships
- Increased level of consultation and communication, both face to face and using technology to help Build relationships

Scottish Hockey’s CEO, Barry Cawte, said, “We are delighted to have successfully implemented the key recommendations from last year’s member engagement project.
“The exercise ensured we Reset and put in place strong foundations for the future. Although the project is concluded we will be taking the core principles into the future as we conduct our strategy roadshow over the coming months.”
