Judge Training
Are you interested in being involved in hockey events or tournaments?
Teamwork is required when officiating a game of hockey within a tournament or event. One role involved is a Judge where the person is responsible for keeping time, scores and noting players on and off the pitch.
This training will provide you with a better understanding of the role of a Judge and allow you to be appointed to events or tournaments in the future. We appoint domestically however there is also an opportunity to be nominated in the future to European and World events. The training consists of 2 parts – online for 1 hour 30mins and then hands on during an indoor youth tournament (29th January and/or 4th February).
You will be supported through this training by 2 of Scottish Hockey’s most experienced international officials – Barbara Morgan and Anne Wotherspoon.
