Watsonians women’s claim win in National League 1.

Watsonians followed up Saturday`s 2-0 defeat of Wildcats with a 2-1 win at Dundee Wanderers on Tayside in the only game on Sunday. Although the Edinburgh side remain in sixth place, they are now only a single point behind fifth place Wanderers and only five points adrift of gaining a place in the top four.
Watsonians went ahead through a penalty corner conversion by Georgia Jones. By half time, the Wanderers were level, from a goal from Vikki Bunce with a reverse stick deflection following a cross by Sam Sangster.
The winner, however came through by Eve Pearson with ten minutes left as the Wanderers seemed to run out of legs. All in all, very good game with Watsonians getting the win in the final minutes, ending on a high.
