Ellice Milroy
Scottish Hockey notes with great sadness that
Ellice Milroy died last week aged 97.
Born in September 1914 just after the outbreak of the First
World War, Ellice became a stalwart of hockey in Scotland, becoming
an umpire and tournament official throughout the 1950s, 60s and
70s, both within Scotland and internationally.
She was the first chair of the Rules Committee in 1968 and
supported many of our top officials in the early years of their
careers.
The funeral is today, Thursday 23 August at 3.30pm at Warriston
Crematorium, Edinburgh.
