Scottish Hockey's Board of Directors sets the strategic vision for the organisation and monitors the activities of Scottish Hockey against long-term business targets, determining priority areas.

Scott Baird: Chair

Scott has a long history with Hockey, starting in 1976 when he played for Uddingston Hockey Club and still continues to do so.  He maintains his passion for Hockey on the International scene serving as a member of the European Hockey Federation Indoor Competitions Committee.

Scott is also a graduate of the UK Sport International Influencing program, meaning he is well placed to advance Scottish Hockey's influence in Europe and beyond.

Scott was appointed Chair of Scottish Hockey in February 2013.

Peter Monaghan: Company Secretary

Now a retired company accountant, Peter, who has been Company Secretary since incorporation in June 2000, was appointed to the Board at the Annual General Meeting in 2008.

Peter began playing hockey with Stepps in 1960 and is a former international selector/manager, Honorary Treasurer and President of Scottish Hockey. He currently chairs the Audit Committee which reports directly to the Board on such matters as finance and risk assessment.

Peter is also a former president of the West District and was also Honorary Treasurer of the Commonwealth Games Council for Scotland for a number of years.

Andrew Scoular: Director

Andrew has been involved in sports administration and development for the past 27 years and has led and implemented change in organisations such as Glasgow City Council and the Rugby Football Union.

Andrew has also played Hockey at international level more than 110 times for Scotland and has achieved the FIH (International Hockey Federation) Coaching Award as well as previously holding the post of Senior Women's Coach.

Robin McLaren: Non-Executive Director

Robin has strong links with Scottish Hockey and recently led the Governance Review Short Life Working Group in 2012.

He is also the founder and Managing Director of a consultancy business advising on land policies and whose clients include Central Government Agencies, the UK Ministry of Defence and the United Nations amongst others.

Robin was previously President of Inverleith Hockey club for seven years and has varied interests including urban planning, leading volunteer groups and lion taming!

Angie Keith: Non-Executive Director

Angie has been involved in hockey since her school days and currently both plays and is a committee member for Aberdeen Bon Accord Hockey Club.
Angie's specialism lies in her 24 years' experience in IT  and Project Management and she has worked in both the private and public sectors.  She is currently IT Manager for a law firm in Aberdeen and is leading Scottish Hockey's transition to a new CRM system.

Angie has been involved in hockey since her schooldays and currently both plays and is a committee member for Aberdeen Bon Accord Hockey Club.

Cheryl Osbourne: Non-Executive Director

Cheryl is a qualified solicitor and currently serves on the Board of Partick Housing Association, where she has been Vice Chair and Chair of the Audit Committee.

Cheryl brings to Scottish Hockey experience of Governance, Policy setting and engaging with members.  She has previously been a committee member of Dundee Wanderers Hockey Club and has two grown up daughters who are keen hockey players.

Barbara Morgan: Non-Executive Director

Barbara has a strong international reputation as an official and has been a member of Kelburne Hockey Club since 1980.

She has previously served as President of the West Women’s District Committee and currently serves as President of the West District Umpires Committee.

Barbara is currently graded as the highest ranking Technical Official in Scotland by the FIH.  She has also served as judge for the Olympic qualifier in Beijing, the World Cup in Rosario, Argentina and more recently, was a National Technical Official at the London Olympics.
