Clubs & Schools Affiliation

For senior clubs, youth clubs and schools, they must become affiliated members of Scottish Hockey to enter and take part in national, regional and youth competitions.

Information is provided below about how to affiliate as a member of Scottish Hockey.

All independent youth clubs and schools should also download and read through the Youth Affiliation Information Guide and Youth Affiliation Flowchart.

Senior Club Affiliation

This allows senior clubs to enter national league, regional league and cup competitions.

Affiliation costs £85 per season and includes Public Liability Insurance.

This fee also covers affiliation for youth teams who are part of senior clubs.

If you are a senior club who wishes to affiliate as a new member of Scottish Hockey, please contact us.

If you are a current member club, your club's administrator can renew it's affiliation before the start of each season via the member area.

Senior clubs must also register all players as members of Scottish Hockey before the start of each season.  See the Player Registration page for more information.

Primary Schools Affilation

This allows primary schools to enter the National Primary Festival, access to STIX resources and sign up for the Scottish Hockey Youth Newsletters.

Affiliation is free.

If your Primary School is not currently an affiliated member of Scottish Hockey, please fill in the Primary School Affiliation Form

If your Primary School is a current member, your administrator can renew the school's affiliation before the start of each season via the member area.

Secondary Schools Affiliation

This allows secondary schools to enter into youth competitions, access to STIX resources and sign up for Scottish Hockey Youth Newsletters.

Affiliation costs £50 per season, but does not include Public Liability Insurance.

If your Secondary School is not currently an affiliated member of Scottish Hockey, please fill in the Secondary School Affiliation Form

If your school is a current member, your administrator can renew the school's affiliation before the start of each season via the member area.

Secondary schools must also register all players as members of Scottish Hockey to ensure that our Personal Accident Insurance covers them. See the Player Registration page for more information.

Youth Club Affiliation

For youth clubs, this will allow access to STIX resources and entry into youth competitions.

Affiliation costs £80 per season and includes Public Liability Insurance.

Please note that youth teams which are part of senior clubs do not have to pay an affiliation fee as they are covered by their parent club.

If you are a youth club who wishes to affiliate as a new member of Scottish Hockey, please fill in the Youth Club Affiliation Form to become a member.
