Scotland U16 Boys are set to play a three match test series against Ireland from 7-9 July 2017, and the squad has been named to play the series.

The three matches will be played on Friday 7 July at 18:30; Saturday 8 July at 14:00; and Sunday 9 July at 10:30. All three matches will be played at Queens University, Belfast.

Scotland U16 Boys’ Head Coach Chris Duncan said, “We've had a fantastic group of players who have worked seriously hard over the past nine months. We have placed an emphasis on their learning experience and preparing them with the habits they will require to become senior internationals. They have developed enormously and have begun to understand some of the qualities and behaviours required to reach the top level.

“Regarding the Ireland games, they are a great opportunity to play top quality opposition and hopefully provide three challenging matches. We have enjoyed the match experiences so far but in reality, we have not been tested or challenged in a way that will bring the best out of the players. I hope we have three good contests this weekend and can deliver three performances which we will be pleased with.”
